Today Asher has his three month follow-up appointment. Yes, it’s been THREE months since his brain shunt surgery! He’ll have a catscan, xray, and a bit of a drive to see his neurosurgeon to look over the tests. Big, long day for the Ash Man.
All prayers and well wishes are much appreciated. Good test results would obviously rock the party.

As we take off for the day, I’m going to steal an idea from Erin at If You Give a Mom a Moment.

Hugs – way more comfortable from a wider variety of people. I LOVE kid hugs…those little arms around my neck or knees. Sigh. One of the best things this side of heaven.

Good Luck Little Asher! Kai had a specialist appt today too! We found out, he’s really not all that coordinated (big shocker there!)
Well… considering I’m 30 and just found my first white hair… I’d say COLOR it which is exactly what I did. Maybe if my hair turns white white, I’d throw a blonde rinse on it… maybe.

3 months is definitely a celebration. I know asthma is no comparison to what Asher deals with, but there was a time when we counted days and sighed. :) I can’t imagine what you go through from one day to the next.
I pick comedy all day long, although I do like dramas. If I get to choose, I like and need to laugh more.

Definitely swimming. It’s good it’s healthy… lying in the sun, you know… it would take me back to my childhood, until I got a cramp in my leg or something, telling me that I’m kinda old :)
