A Mother’s Day picture story

May 9, 2010

There is so much fun to be had in a cabinet.
You can even pretend you’re a really mean
trapped and angry bear

But then you might start thinking
Am I really trapped in here?
I’m actually just a person I might want to get out sometime

HI-YAH!

Oh my…one of the terrible bears
has escaped! And the other bear is…
astonished!

Brother Bear, I shall FREE YOU!!!

AAATTTAAAACK
HER!!!!

I love being attacked.

It is a privilege and an honor and a joy to call these two bears mine…

Happy Mother’s Day, friends!

Attack! Wonderful photos. I love being attacked, too; best hugs come in the preamble of a CHARGE!

(BTW, if you tire of me calling you Maverick every time I post a comment, I'll stop. Really, I will. It's just that I so adore your "Talk to me goose" close up there, I can't help myself.)

Oh, to have a hug from a bear or two so cute this beautiful day. It would be such a celebration! You Missy, are a very lucky Mama. Treasure this day, because they will grow up and quite possibly be writerly in England, which is far for a Mama Bear.

PS: You're speaking at CBC?! Waaaa. Many of my bloggy friends will be there, too. I'd go but it's on my husband's birthday. Please let us know how it goes!!

I love the picture with the reflection of you laughing – a lovely moment captured. Might be handy for those moments when you're wondering why you embarked on parenthood too!

These are the real moments of motherhood that make mother's day something beautiful, even when it's ordinary. Love their adorable little faces!

I love the photos you post about playing with your children. It usually causes me to walk away from the computer and play with my own. Thanks for the reminder of how great it is to be present with my kids.

so cute! Sometimes I wish they'd stay contained just a little longer though…
