Gifts for Life: The Artist’s House

November 30, 2010

{an EO and O My Family gift guide and giveaway extravaganza, benefiting bead for life}
I’m so honored to tell you about today’s giveaway…well, both of them actually. Yes, it’s true. There will be another EPIC giveaway this afternoon!

But for now…

~handmade~art~quilts~prints~cards~throw pillows~creative~fabric~multi-media~modern~

Just a few of the words that describe The Artist’s House,
a lovely place to feast your eyes on the soul creative,
thanks to Angela Flicker,
creator and artist.

these are a few of my favorite things…

this one really needs to be on my wall. It asked.

{print}

You can follow The Artist’s House on Twitter
or you can keep up with what’s new on Facebook.

Today, Angela has been generous enough to offer TWO $25 gift certificates to her Etsy shop! Yes, that means TWO lucky winners!

To enter to be one of the TWO winners, head on over to Etsy and take a peek and then come back and tell me what you love. That’s it, that’s all you need to do!

Just so you know, I’m thinking I’ve fallen in love with this…

It’s called Sweet Dreams
and I think it’s perfect for
the little guy or girl
Ryan and I got to meet today
via ultrasound,
there with a peanut head
and a little fist
and a quickly beating tiny heart.

Yeah, this belongs in The Acorn‘s room, methinks.
Dear Santa…

And remember, all through this gift guide week, our goal with Gifts for Life is to support the wonderful cause of Bead for Life. That’s why we’ve have made it possible for you to increase your entries (and odds of winning!) by doing a couple of things:

1) Buy jewelry at the Bead for Life store and earn ONE ADDITIONAL COMMENT for every $10 spent (or donated) on ONE GIVEAWAY (not one additional entry on each giveaway or more than one).

2) Register to host a Bead for Life Bead Party and earn you FIVE (5) ADDITIONAL COMMENT entries in a Gifts for Life giveaway.

~Have a question about extra entries? Check out the full details here.

~Remember to leave a separate comment for each option.

~Head over to O My Family today for an Earth Mama Angel Baby giveaway (this morning) and a Peggy Sue Designs giveaway(this afternoon). (You can find all of Allison’s giveaways for this event here.)

This giveaway closes at 10:00pm CST Sunday December 5th. The winner will be announced the following day.

One last very important note: Please keep in mind that you are not required to donate to Bead for Life to enter each giveaway. You are only required to leave a comment (and occasionally visit the shop connected to the giveaway). But if you do feel inspired to donate, we’re simply honoring that gesture with extra entries. Either way we’re just really glad you’re here. Thank you.

(disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for doing this giveaway. I just really love The Artist’s House.)

This giveaway is now closed.

Love the site. A neighbor turned me on to Esty last year for personalized holiday gifts. Then realized it was SO MUCH MORE! Isn't it just the greatest collection of art!

I would totally get some of the every day napkins – not sure what design though! I love a bunch of them but it would be nice if they matched my plates… tough choice! :)

I love quilts in general, so I'd choose any with applique because I'm too lazy to do applique.

But. The cloth napkins. Love.

I love your peeps so much. How cool is her shop? I think I need to get the TV set wall art. You can put your own photo in it! Sure, your kids or whatever. Or Don Draper. Or Rachel Maddow and me! Or zombies. So freaking cool.

Such beautiful items! It would be hard to choose from them all, but I'm sure I could do it if I win :)

Stacy Monaghan December 4, 2010 at 9:28 pm

A novel place to read is my favorite just because it makes me think of reading in a cozy chair – one of my happy places!
