Artifact Uprising: a Giveaway from one of my favorite companies!

December 9, 2013

ARTIFACT UPRISING // inspired by the disappearing beauty
of the tangible / bettered by a community of inspired
storytellers / driven by the belief everyone has a story
to tell. Tell On. — from the Artifact Uprising website

Hello friends, we both know there are loads of places you can purchase gifts for your loved ones like personalized calendars, soft and hardcover photo books and other photo gifts. But have you heard of Artifact Uprising?

I love a company that isn’t just another company doing the same things as other companies are doing with one simple goal: to make money. Artifact Uprising is truly unique, connected to its community of supporters and is simply a company built on GOOD.

All of the AU products are made in Colorado out of “the disappearing beauty of the tangible”, and this means that the interior pages of all of their books are made from waste products:

We want to float the rivers and walk our woods knowing we are always striving to build a responsible business. We want to give others the power to make the same choice. –AU

THEN, the wood that is used in making the beautiful gift options beyond the calendars and photo books are made of pine trees that have fallen prey to beetles. AU uses these downed trees that could have been seen as useless rather than live trees that are becoming more rare as the beetles march on. This is just such an obviously fantastic plan, no?

And the beauty it inspires?

Here are a few of the products you’ll find at Artifact Uprising:

AUCollageText

1. Postcard Packs (for mailing your photos on beautiful recycled paper, as postcards!)

2. Wooden photo boxes (beautiful and unique decor)

3. Wood Block + Prints (perfect for the person who sits at a desk for work!)

So unique, huh? Not just another calendar, book or set of prints, no. These are gorgeous, and I can speak from experience since I received postcard packs for using as holiday cards. Of course, I had to use my sense of humor just a little in choosing photos for the cards….

and we used a few candids that are quite so silly:

The postcards come in these beautiful (of course) booklets that allow you to pull the cards out from a perforated binder.

Today, YOU can win a postcard pack of your own! Need more holiday cards to send? Need some rockin’ cool thank you postcards? Here’s your chance. This giveaway is open to the U.S. and ends on Friday at noon.

Artifact Uprising needs you to make your gift orders by December 15 so the items can make it to you by Christmas. If you’ve been looking for that perfect, unique and personalized holiday gift, you’ve found it! Now hurry :)
