The idea for the following post is stolen from Becky at on top of the world (or at least really far north), a blog I love to read. She interviewed her son, Riley. I decided to do the same with Miles. (Even though I have to embarrass myself to share his responses.) This was so much fun, sitting down with Miles and picking his brain for answers about his mommy, yours truly. If you happen to have a child who happens to be old enough to interview, give it a whirl–so entertaining!
1. What is something your mom always says to you?
Miles- Go in a time out! (uuum, that’s really not ALL I ever say…is it?)
2. What makes mom happy?
Miles- Cars!
3. What makes mom sad?
Miles- Ovens (ha!)
4. How does your mom make you laugh?
Miles- You make me bongo (?)
5. What was your mom like as a child?
Miles- You were like a door (hmmm, swinging? shut? open? hard?)
6. How old is your mom?
Miles- I don’t know.
7. How tall is your mom?
Miles- (holds his hand up a little higher than his own head)
8. What is her favorite thing to do?
Miles- Play puter (play computer–no comment)
9. What does your mom do when you’re not around?
Miles – Be sad.
10. What is your mom really good at?
Miles – Making a puter (sigh…oh the guilt)
11. What is your mom not very good at?
Miles- Ovens (Is my food that bad?)
12. What does your mom do for her job?
Miles – Pushes buttons. (Hey, maybe he’s NOT referring to puters!)
13. What is your moms favorite food?
Miles- Ghetti (spaghetti)
14. What makes you proud of your mom?
Miles – I don’t know.
15. What do you and your mom do together?
Miles- Draw.
16. How are you and your mom the same?
Miles- I don’t know.
17. How are you and your mom different?
Miles- I don’t know.
18. How do you know your mom loves you?
Miles- You play cars.

I wonder what would happen if I put these questions to my kids. . .
That was very cute.
Adorable pics and revealing answers:) I’m a tidge nervous to ask my kids these ?s, but it still sounds like fun…..
Sorry to hear about that oven-phobia. :) And Riley asks me a little too frequently if I’m done playing on the computer. Oops!
Oh, cute! You and those ovens, my friend, have some issues to work out. Maybe you need a trial separation? Thank you for your visit:: i love your site- i am going to have to try and interview my daughter… see what she says about me!
Too funny.
Gonna try this with my boys.
Very cute! I know I prefer the computer to ovens (or any cooking) any time of day!
this is a great idea! what a sweetie!
you always have such good ideas! And miles sounds hilarious! What a fun afternoon :)
A darling story. I have three little granddaughters here right now and, if I had time, I’d interview one of them like this. In fact, I may hurry up and squeeze it in. So cute.
You'll have to forgive me if I steal this idea! Mango & I both got a good laugh!!
