Heart Melter

Last night I went to run errands and by the time I got home, Miles was in bed. He wasn’t sleeping yet though. He talks for a very long time in his bed after he “goes to bed.” He was being kinda crazy in his room, so I came in to remind him that it was time for sleep and to say good night. I was all business until he put his hand on my face and said, “thanks for coming home, mommy.” Then he reached up and hugged my neck. That’s all I need for Christmas.
