Miles did our Christmas decorating this year.
I believe he has a gift.
All I had to do was sit at the table and watch.
These are all of our decorations, you know, since we’re moving.
I’m cool with that.
All that really matters is that proud little grin anyway.

Not only is Miles helpful, he’s also hilarious. Just the other day he said,
Daddy, your loud talking is crazing me out.
Go ahead and steal the phrase crazing me out. You’re welcome.

P.S. Thank you all so much for your comments on my last post. That was the kind of post I hesitate to publish in all my fear and insecurity, all worried that I won’t be understood. So honestly, I was relieved and humbled and simply blown away by your encouraging comments. You rock. Thank you.

And how cute is your son?
I love all the red in your house…..and I LOVE YOU.
I know I haven't been around as much but I do read every one of your posts and comment when I can. Three kids and Christmas and STUFF are getting in the way of my blog time!
What fun to just decorate the chairs! Maybe that's what we'll do next year….just chairs.
He does have a gift! Brilliant!
That is awesome.
I'm crazing out is my new go to phrase.
Love the decorating! And I'm totally going to start using "crazing me out" because my boys are constantly crazing me out! I'll be sure to attribute the phrase to you and Miles!
Stealing the phrase…now Im stalking you from SITS!
Hahaha! I love him.
Ah, indentured servitude. I waited my whole life for days like that. And I feel totally crazed out today too. (See? Stole it already!)
I like his approach, simple yet pretty.
I missed it – where and when are you moving??
The little guy definitely has a gift. I'm so stealing the 'crazing me out' phrase…I've already used it once.
Goodness… the light and shadow of that chair is near perfection!
That is so cute – and gave me quite the giggle. :)
I love that you let him decorate! Look how proud he is :) I was SO going to let the kids be all involved until five minutes in, when they had everything spread everywhere and I yelled, "Stop it!You're crazing me out!" Ok, no I didn't. But if I had a time-machine, I'd totally go back and do it.
I can't believe you're coping with everything on your plate right now. I'd be huddled in a corner, crying. Wait, I AM huddled in a corner crying… Christmas stress is crazing me out.
Ok, I'll stop now.
He did a great job! And "crazing me out" — I'm totally stealing that!
The whimsical placement of decorations, that wry smile smacking of pride, those wacky words – pure magic. We currently have one branch of our Christmas tree that is dragging on the floor because it is being weighed down by two dozen "Christmas balls" the girls affectionately hung on it. I refuse to remove them. There is magic here that we must not mess with.
Lovely pictures, especially love the one with the chair and the reflection on the wall, just beautiful!
Am immediately stealing the term "crazing me out." It's genius.
You tell that Miles he did a wonderful job… it's so amazing it's crazing me out. ;)
Love the red chair… and that smile. Miles rocks when it comes to decorating!
Isn't it fantastic how much little kids LOVE helping?
Your house is beautiful. I need to go clean. :)
Happy Saturday Sharefest! I think Miles did a gerat job decorating! I also read your last post and I loved your realness and honesty! It truly was beautiful!
Happy Saturday and Happy holidays!
Miles has many gifts! Decorating, and catch phrases among them :) I'm going to hang onto that one!
Totally stealing crazing me out.
Totally.
I've never seen such festive decor. Kuddos to Miles!
Miles is the cutest thing ever. Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Saturday SITS Sharefest! Great site…I'll be sure to come back soon and see some more!

Im wondering if I might be able to hire Miles for a little redo over at my place
I love "crazing me out" – I think it will catch on…
Do you have any idea how many times a day I could really use that "you're crazing me out" phrase? Please thank Miles for me.
Knowing that I have so much to do before Friday is "crazing me out"
Crazing me out is exactly what I feel sometimes. I am definitely going to borrow this phrase!
