Hi Heather,

I was wondering if you could put me in contact with the right person to discuss a potential partnership.

I work as part of the Business Development team at FindTheBest.com where we provide unbiased comparisons of data to present valuable information through our user-friendly platform. We’ve worked with top publishers like The Huffington Post, Tech Crunch, and Golf Digest and are looking for a quality Mother and Parenting related site to work with.

To give you a better idea, check out the sidebar widget we installed earlier this week for RealClearHistory.com. We have great Parenting-related platforms that would be a good compliment to the resources you already provide your readers.

Please let me know the appropriate person to speak with and how I may arrange a phone call to discuss this further.

Thanks,

Kyle

Hi Katrina,

I’m not able to give you much more information than I did in my posts. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I haven’t found any answers myself except that there are some doctors who will do reversals, but that’s not inexpensive. I wish there was more I could say.

Hi ladies with Post Tubal Ligation PTLS issues! I wanted you let you know that we have started collecting studies and articles based on the topic of PTLS and/or sterilization so that the public can be better educated. I also am an admin on several support groups on facebook of women that are suffering from PTLS. I personally had a reversal because I could not handle the pain and other symptoms I was going through. I now live my life PTLS free but other women have also had tubal removal or hysterectomies which insurances WILL pay for if it’s proven medically necessary.

Sorry to barge in on the post but I try to keep up with Heather and the posts she makes because of her original PTLS blog that lead me to my answers. I’ve been very blessed to have my life restored and now have become an advocate myself, to help inspire others.

Hi Heather, I just read your posts about post tubal ligation syndrome. They were dated February, so I wondered if you had found any relief to your symptoms or a doctor who was sympathetic. I’ve been dealing with what I think is the same thing since my tubal after c-section in 2010. I’m a mess and I don’t wish this on anyone. Hope you are doing well.

Hi Mary!

I’m basically just being treated for the symptoms right now. I’m on medication for the mental health issues. (SO FUN.) My skin, digestion and fatigue are still totally wacky. My doctor is sympathetic, but she’s not an OB/GYN. She does recognize and validate that this is a common problem. She too stated that doctors don’t warn their patients because there are no studies so they don’t have to…so frustrating.
I feel like I’ve done a study right here. I still get so many emails and comments about this. People search google about this and land on my blog all the time, every day. Many! It’s so sad.
I’m sorry you’re struggling, too. I know some docs will consider tubal reversals but apparently it’s rare. Again, so frustrating.

I’m sorry I can’t give you a more hopeful response.

peace to you,
H

Hi, I had a post partum tubal around 10 hrs post vaginal birth. I first off felt it on my left ovary area during the surgery. Secondly, I had sweats and hot flashes post partum for several months. I also lost all my strength one day and could barely lift the baby, I do not get normal menstral cramps. I get lower back pain and leg cramping instead now. I get some sharp pains in the ovarian area and in my side and hip. My breasts just began to get sensitive but I have had none of that. My periods begs in to come every two to three weeks three months ago. I could not breast feed or lose the baby weight. I had to do a medical diet to lose the weight which I did begin after my sons first birthday. I have just got blood work done and both of my testosterone levels are below normal range. I am 40. I am constantly tired, I snore at night, have hot flashes, my hair is dry and comes out in clups. I am progressively losing my memory and words. I have weak bones, it goes on… My hormone levels are insufficient and I’m going to dr. Wed. My dr told me there are No side effects besides no more kids.
