21 weeks
We are past halfway to meeting her.
Pregnancy, for me anyway, is one of those things that goes
both too fast and too slow,
mixing itself up to be just the right amount of time.

I think back to seeing that faint line on the test, way back in October
and it was yesterday and soooo long ago.
Before we know it, she’ll be here and we’ll be looking at her like
she was always here
and that seems really far away,
before we know it.
It’s just the right amount of fast and slow and then
there will be this soft and holy HELLO.
She kicked right below my belly button right when I typed that. She did. Or maybe it was a hello punch. I’m not sure, of course. But it was just right.

I have never seen anyone who is more "all baby" than you.
Adorable!
Sweet! And you look darling!
I totally understand what you mean by too fast and too slow. I feel like Feb has been the slowest month. But everyday I am shocked when I look in the mirror and see my GIANT stomach.
You look wonderful!
Pregnancy, too fast and too slow…so true.
Your picture looks so much better than mine today.
It does go fast. I can't believe in 10ish weeks I will be holding my babe. if he is like his siblings, it will be in 7-9 weeks!
In case you're wondering "Should I maybe always be pregnant?" I vote yes. You look beautiful.
Getting to know her and finding out you already do. That is the most wonderful thing! So happy for you.
Cheers,
Casey
You look fantastic! I can't wait to "meet" her! Lots of love and warm thoughts sent your way!!
I'm sure you hear people say this all the time, and you shrug it off… but you are the cutest pregnant person, ever!
And she will be here before you know it~
This is so true, both of pregnancy and these years we have our kids with us. The days are slow, the years are fast. I just realized I'm halfway through my parenting years. My son is 11, my youngest 7, leaving me 11 more years til she's 18. I'm going to need to ponder the implications of that for a while…
This is my favorite stage of pregnancy, the mid-way point. Enjoy it girl. You look great! :)
"Soft and holy" is the perfect phrasing for that intense first moment.
Come on, could you look any tinier, except for that adorable tummy. What would you call it now…almost 3 tiles tall?
You look GORGEOUS. So happy for you.
PS – do you have any Nashville recommendations? Never been, and going there this summer! I know you spoke, right?
This post is just right, as are you. Oh lovely.
So very sweet!
It is hard to believe that you are halfway there.
Just posted my pregnancy pic too. 25 wks along. I love feeling my daughter saying hello from the womb. We can actually see the movement now from the surface of my belly. So magical!
I don't know everything I feel about communicating with babies in our bellies, but I believe they hear and we hear. The connection is already there. As your hello punch so astutely points out.
You are adorable. I agree that pregnancy is almost bittersweet.
Could you be any cuter? The answer to that is NO. No, you couldn't.
I always loved being pregnant and love the anticipation.
slow fast/ push pull … Isn't that exactly how life should be?!?
PS. Cute shirt! Preggy fashion has gotten much better since I was pregnant. hmm.
Just beautiful! I am 19 weeks today and just found out it's a boy! So, arranged marriage then? Cool.
Oh how exciting! I'm just 3 weeks behind you and it does seem to go too fast and too slow. I guess just trying to enjoy it is the thing to do.

Those kicks are amazing! And, definitely not random. Loved your picture.
How exciting!! Love the pic.
I want to pat your belly.
That is all.
:)
And just think of all those wonderful, beautiful, sacred, soft and holy "hellos" you will share with her soon. :)
