Elsie Jane, you keep me on my toes.

I’m just so glad you’re here.
When you’re in the midst of The Colic, you wonder if your baby will ever smile or sit content for even a moment or sleep peacefully. So this small moment? The one up there? I will (prepare for sappy sapperton) cherish it. I will cup my palm around it and gently pull it close. And then I’ll wait for more. There is so much more to come.

Oh, the colic is so hard. My second was a tough case. Little sleep, lots of crying, and lots of only mommy holding. I will tell you he is my sweetest most loving, huggable little one, and as a toddler he was a dream! We say he got all his fussing out as a baby. *Prayers*Hugs*Encouragement – It does get better, promise!
Holy Cuteness! I cannot wait to give her a squeeeeeeeeeeze!
