And he surrenders to the artistic spirit.
My friend Sabrina (from Superfluous) got engaged!!!
Since I first met and then got to know this lovely lady,
I knew she’d make someone very happy one day.
Honestly, her guy could not have found a more
patient, understanding, fashionable, kind, hilarious, beautiful and talented girl.
(Seriously. The cooking and baking and gardening! Oh my!)
Congratulations to you both! Sabrina,
you rock the BumpIt Bride Party.

Good boy.
(And after that, it’s possible that I let him keep the paint on his face while he took a nap.
And then the paint moved itself to his soft blond hair. That was pretty.)

The picture looks wonderful – is the look on his face one of waiting for parental adoration or is art not his thing?!? Is the hat for decoration, effect or protection?
The look on his face says "Are you going to be mad that I have paint all over my hands, cheeks and clothes or what?" :)
And the hat is his favorite. To wear at all times and for all purposes.
I am now shunning Sabrina, since she is not coming to the CBC. We could have had some amazing Bumpit times together!
That kid is just insanely adorable.
The boy is gorgeous-er than gorgeous. I swear every time you post a pic of him my first thought is OOOOH I COULD EAT HIM UP.
Having said that, i *totally* respect the grownup & serious look he's giving you, like he's all "mom, I understand the consequences. I'm a man, & I can take it."
ha hahahahahahah: love love LOVE little boys. They KILL me!
Love the painty hands! What a cute little guy. And congrats to your friend- she sounds like my kind of gal.
I'm so excited to meet you this week! WOO HOO! CBC or bust!
I think I need a painting hat like that. Then my creative projects might turn out a little better … or at least be more fun!
Ever since you took that photo of Sabrina, I have been waiting for it to surface…thinking maybe since I am not on Facebook I would never see it revealed. But alas! You serve up the sleeper! Well done!
I recently read "Olivia" to my 5-year-old. My oldest daughter's name is Olivia so we have several copies, but I think they were buried. Just having seen the page about Olivia's creativity with her painting reminds me so much of your son here. Yeah to the creative spirit, indeed! We need not squelch such loveliness. :)
The sign of a truly successful finger painting session is when the child is covered in more paint than the finished painting. I'd call this a win.
Today I will surrender to my creative spirit!
Thanks for the inspiration.

I think a good indication that we're doing something useful is if we're messy. That was an awesome picture.
AH HA HA HA!! I have been MIA from blogs lately and now I'm catching up!!! You are so funny! What a picture!! Gosh if people only knew how i look when I'm chillin' at home. I DO NOT WEAR BUMPITS EVERYDAY… in case anyone thought I did! You are too sweet!
Love you!
Yikes – I do not let my son paint with clothes on – he ALWAYS ends up with paint everywhere!!! :) Glad your little man had fun – looks like a sweet picture. :)
