Gifts for Life: Paper Culture, a giveaway

November 29, 2010

All throughout this week my friend Allison from OMyFamily and I are going to rock your socks with a gift guide and giveaway event for the exposure of an organization called Bead for Life.

We’ve chosen to partner with mostly handmade businesses in this endeavor, but there are a few others that we love and respect that we will also be featuring. These are companies that are new and growing, working hard to give back in an authentic and meaningful way and doing a bang-up job of it.

So, let’s get this party started, shall we?

The first Gifts for Life giveaway is from the lovely Paper Culture, and friends, they have been generous indeed.

I don’t remember how I landed there, but when I first came across the Paper Culture website I was immediately enamored. I love the modern styles and the fact that they plant a tree with every order. I love the variety, the process of ordering, and the end product? Seriously high-quality. You have my word.

The entire Paper Culture Holiday Collection

Today you have a chance to win one of FIVE (5) $25 gift certificates to Paper Culture!

Wait. Make that TEN. Because if you head on over to OMyFamily, you’ll find that Paper Culture has provided 5 more $25 gift certificates over there! 5 here, 5 there. That’s 10. (That’s about as far as my math skills will take you, so from there you’re on your own.)

If you’re totally on the ball and done with holiday cards, never fear. Paper Culture has stationary, birth announcements, party invites and more.

Leaving a comment on this post is all you have to do to enter!

Because our goal with this Gifts for Life gift guide is to support the wonderful cause of Bead for Life, we have made it possible for you to increase your entries (and odds of winning!) by doing a couple of things:

1) Buy jewelry at the Bead for Life store and earn ONE ADDITIONAL COMMENT for every $10 spent (or donated) on ONE GIVEAWAY (not one additional entry on each giveaway or more than one).

2) Registering to host a Bead for Life Bead Party earns you FIVE (5) ADDITIONAL COMMENT entries in Gifts for Life giveaways.

Have a question about extra entries? Check out the full details here.

This giveaway closes at 10:00pm CST Sunday December 5th. The winner will be announced the following day.

(Remember to leave a separate comment for each option and don’t forget to head over to OMyFamily for more chances to win!)

(Disclaimer: I did receive my Christmas cards from Paper Culture pro bono this year. That way, I can tell you first-hand that they come in a pretty box and they are card stock quality. I absolutely love them. Also, they came REALLY fast.)

Beads for Life is such an amazing organization! I have a Ugandan bead bracelet from a similar organization, I think it's such a wonderful concept. And fun giveaway too! I love cards and paper products – and a company that plants a tree for every order? Fantastic!!

Very cool. Heard about BFL through another Ugandan ministry but didn't realize the full scope. Very worthy project you all are supporting.

you know, I didn't even realize that by buying at Beads for Life I earned another chance at winning, I just wanted to tell you about it on your Ellie post. But since I already have a ton of her jewelry (love her stuff!), can I please add my additional chance at winning to this giveaway? Confusing, I know. Sorry to be lame. :)
